To thank everyone for coming, I've decided to make mini pillow ornaments with each family's last name.
I followed this tutorial from lemon tree creation, but tweeted it a bit to make it easier. I used transfer paper instead of the Silhouette heat transfer paper. The names were ironed on the pillows after I pulled them inside out.
After I stuff the pillows, I put the ribbon at the opening then sewed a straight stitch right across the top of the pillows.
